Responsibilities

How will you make an impact? 

 

The Flight Operations Program Manager reports directly to the Director, Flight Operations - Technical and is responsible for ensuring that all non-aircraft specific flight operations policies and procedures are developed and maintained in accordance with FAA and industry guidelines. These programs include, but are not limited to: Electronic Flight Bag, Flight Safety Management System (SMS), Ground Deicing and Anti-icing, Weight and Balance, FFDO, CASS, SSI, HAZMAT and all content contained in the Flight Operations Manual (FOM). The Manager participates in Aircraft Product Teams, Manual Standardization Team and acts as a company member of incident/accident investigations. Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of the day-to-day line operations and have the ability to maintain aircraft qualifications.

 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must be able to work in a team environment and the ability to prioritize work and projects in order to meet deadlines and objectives. Must be able to work with minimal supervision, report to work regularly and on-time, and be self-motivated.

 

Position Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18
  • College degree in a technical field or equivalent amount of airline experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all FAA rules/regulations
  • Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
  • Possess the legal right to work in the United States Position Preferences
  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine Land Rating

Preferred Qualifications

  • EMB170/190 Type Rating
  • Technical writing experience
  • Previous managerial experience

Additional Position Details

  • Candidates must fulfill a fingerprint based criminal background check to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable.
  • Candidates must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, in addition to clearing other airport related requirements, if applicable.
  • This position may be subject to the Department of Transportation (DOT). Federal law requires Envoy to determine a candidate’s history with the DOT drug and/or alcohol violation(s) or refusal(s) to test before hiring him/her into a safety-sensitive position.
