Responsibilities

The Airport Workforce Planning team is part of the Customer Service Planning department which provides analytical support to airport operations. Our team works directly with Operations Leadership, Finance, Talent Acquisition, and various other internal and external partners to ensure airports are provided with resources needed to achieve our performance and financial goals.

This role is key to ensuring optimal resourcing for day-to-day operations, supporting future growth, and expanding our station portfolio through proactive engagement in RFP processes. The ideal candidate brings a balance of data-driven planning, leadership, and a business development mindset.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain airport staffing models to analyze staffing requirements and provide accurate headcount forecasts
  • Lead, coach, and develop Workforce Planning Analysts
  • Analyze staffing levels, forecast labor needs, and identify potential gaps or surpluses in coordination with station managers and operations leadership
  • Provide reports and analysis to internal and external partners on items related to staffing and new business opportunities
  • Lead the preparation and coordination for headcount modelling for RFPs (Requests for Proposal) to expand our portfolio of handled airport stations
  • Coordinate and oversee budget planning, headcount forecasting, and long-term resource strategy
  • Complete ad-hoc projects and analyses as assigned

 

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

  • Degree in Aviation, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Industrial Engineering or related technical field is required

  • Experience managing or mentoring teams

  • Highly proficient in use of Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Teams

  • Prior use of Inform GS Planner, AirVision, GatePlanner, and Hyperion is preferred

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills

  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with an aptitude for problem solving

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to travel

  • Must possess at least one form of TSA-acceptable identification for business travel purposes.
