Hourly Rate: $22.00/hr.

Responsibilities

How will you make an impact?

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the highest level of customer service and responsiveness throughout the Leave of Absence (LOA) and Accommodation (ADA) process with employees, managers, our HR Team, and third-party entity.
  • Provides instruction to appropriate stakeholders regarding procedures and compliance in accordance with company standards, and state and federal regulations.
  • Provides accurate tracking of leaves from start dates, to return dates, intermittent leaves, etc. in accordance with internal workflow processes.
  • Manages the Return-to-Work Program, which includes weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Works cross functionally with other teams (i.e., Worker’s Compensation, Compliance, Time & Attendance) to coordinate the integration of leaves and integration with other functions (Workman’s Compensation with FMLA, benefits during FMLA, leave status coding, etc.)
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of information
  • Generates reports to analyze leave data
  • Manages the Leave of Absence and Accommodations mailboxes and action items accurately and appropriately
  • Partners with third party administrator to ensure proper leave management (eligibility, communications, returns to work, reporting accuracy and efficiency)
  • Tracks and responds to legal documents and subpoenas
  • Participates in special projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent amount of relevant work experience
  • Minimum of one (1) year of administrative work experience
  • Knowledge of Leave of Absence and Accomodations 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software, including outstanding skills with spreadsheet (Excel) and presentation (PowerPoint) programs
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality required
  • Ability to appropriately prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to work well with others and independently with a minimum of supervision
  • Excellent Leadership skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
  • Possess the legal right to work in the United States
