We are looking for college intern who will be passionate to work for Envoy Air, the largest regional airline in the American Airlines Group (AAG) of carriers. This is an exciting opportunity where you will have the unique opportunity to work with a team of professionals to share your creative ideas to continue to build the Envoy brand, support recruiting efforts and translate complex concepts into easy to understand materials for our different audiences. Envoy operates Embraer 175 and 170 aircraft. The regional airline has expanded its network outside of the U.S. to international destinations in Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

 

Our paid 11-week summer internship will not only enhance your studies, but also provide an educational experience you can’t find in the classroom. As an intern, you will learn real world skills while building a professional network of future peers. You will learn the ins and outs of how your team impacts the business day to day and gain an understanding of the commercial aviation business.

 

Pay rate: $22 / hr

Responsibilities

Typical job duties include:

  • Attend monthly C2E ambassador meetings to observe discussions and capture feedback themes. 
  • Review existing C2E materials and identify opportunities to make them more engaging and practical. 
  • Collect and organize data from multiple sources (e.g., safety reports, engagement surveys, maintenance metrics) for analysis. 
  • Extract maintenance performance data from internal systems and create Excel spreadsheets for tracking and reporting. 
  • Draft and refine manager engagement resources such as huddle guides, recognition templates, and communication pieces. 
  • Build and maintain a simple tracking tool or dashboard to monitor engagement activities and key metrics. 
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Planning, Technical Services, Aircraft Technical Support, SOC, and line/base maintenance teams to validate tools and gather insights. 
  • Summarize feedback and pilot results into clear, actionable insights for leadership. 
  • Document processes and create easy-to-follow guides for sustaining engagement efforts after the internship. 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must be able to work in a team environment and possess the ability to handle & prioritize various projects to meet deadlines and objectives. Must be able to work with minimal supervision, report to work regularly and on-time, and be self-motivated.

 

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 18 
  • Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in: Business, Aviation Management, or related field. 
  • Must be classified as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student upon start of internship 
  • 3.0 minimum Grade Point Average 
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; ability to interpret data and identify trends. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with Power BI or similar tools preferred. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present ideas clearly and concisely. 
  • Comfortable working in a maintenance and safety-critical environment and engaging with frontline employees. 
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently on structured tasks. 
  • Must be willing and able to travel 
  • Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language 
  • Possess the legal right to work in the United States
