We are looking for college intern who will be passionate to work for Envoy Air, the largest regional airline in the American Airlines Group (AAG) of carriers. This is an exciting opportunity where you will have the unique opportunity to work with a team of professionals to share your creative ideas to continue to build the Envoy brand, support recruiting efforts and translate complex concepts into easy to understand materials for our different audiences.  Envoy operates Embraer 175 and 170 aircraft. The regional airline has expanded its network outside of the U.S. to international destinations in Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Our paid 11-week summer internship will not only enhance your studies, but also provide an educational experience you can’t find in the classroom. As an intern, you will learn real world skills while building a professional network of future peers. You will learn the ins and outs of how your team impacts the business day to day and gain an understanding of the commercial aviation business.

Pay rate: $22 / hr

With this internship, the intern will assist the Reliability Engineers with the development and automation of new reporting systems for aircraft data analytics.

Typical job duties include:

• Conduct detailed data analysis of aircraft and systems performance. 
• Identify trends and develop presentations including recommendations 
• Create dashboards to highlight trends in aircraft and systems performance. 
• Automate process and reports 

The ideal candidate must be able to work in a team environment and the ability to prioritize work and projects in order to meet deadlines and objectives. Must be able to work with minimal supervision, report to work regularly and on-time, and be self-motivated.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum age of 18 
• Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in: Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science 
• Must be classified as a Junior or Senior 
• 3.0 minimum Grade Point Average 
• Proficiency in MS Office that includes Excel (pivot tables, VB, ETC.), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook 
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Tableau/Power BI and/or Cognos preferred 
• Ability to present data to all levels of management 
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing 
• Must be willing and able to travel 
• Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
