Responsibilities

The Analyst, Airport Data & Operations position is part of the Customer Service Policy and Planning department, providing analytical and business intelligence support to airport operations. Our team leverages data analytics to support operations leadership and various departments in optimizing staffing, monitoring policy compliance, and enabling data-driven decision making.

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Leads by example; has been given top performance reviews from previous management and comes highly recommended
  • Has demonstrated ability to independently complete analytical projects from data collection through final implementation
  • Must be able to manage multiple analytical projects with tight timelines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using PowerBI and Tableau for operational decision-making and performance monitoring
  • Query and analyze large datasets using SQL to extract insights on airport operations, staffing efficiency, and compliance metrics
  • Perform quantitative analysis in Excel to evaluate operational productivity, identify inefficiencies, and quantify cost-saving opportunities
  • Develop strategic, data-driven initiatives to improve operational productivity across hub and outstation locations
  • Analyze station compliance data and develop metrics to track adherence to company policies and regulations
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align reporting requirements and provide analytical support across AAG operations
  • Automate reporting processes and administrative workflows to improve efficiency
  • Support leadership development programs through data tracking and compliance measurement
  • Conduct ad hoc statistical analysis to support organizational priorities and special projects

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related quantitative field (or equivalent experience/training)
  • Proficiency in PowerBI and Tableau for dashboard development and data visualization
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and statistical functions
  • Experience with Microsoft’s Power Platform, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Familiarity with Cognos or similar enterprise reporting tools (preferred)
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with strong problem-solving aptitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present data insights to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willing and able to travel
