Main Responsibilities
The Commodity Manager is responsible for leading assigned supply chain management initiatives within the Purchasing group.
Research, prepare, and analyze business decision support packages.
Prepare reliability summaries to support technical and commercial leadership meetings.
Analyze purchase and repair order cost and performance.
Analyze parts usage data.
Negotiate terms for goods and services with suppliers.
Manage Requests For Proposal (RFPs) including coordination with internal customers to determine project requirements.
Assess viability of supplier proposals.
Monitor contractual entitlements and obligations.
