Responsibilities

How will you make an impact?  

 

The Aviation Reliability Analyst is responsible for analyzing fleet performance data, identifying reliability trends, and providing data‑driven insights to improve aircraft safety, reliability, and operational efficiency. This role supports the Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP) and ensures compliance with FAA regulations, OEM requirements, and internal maintenance programs.

 

Responsibilities

  • Collect, trend, and analyze fleet reliability data, including delays, cancellations, component removals, pilot reports (PIREPs), and maintenance findings.

  • Monitor reliability metrics such as MTBUR, MTBF, dispatch reliability, repeat/multiple MELs, and chronic issues.

  • Identify adverse trends and emerging reliability risks across systems, components, and aircraft types.

  • Develop clear, concise reliability reports and dashboards for technical leadership, maintenance leadership, and FAA oversight.

  • Present findings to internal stakeholders, including engineering teams and senior leadership.

  • Support development of custom queries, automated reports, and KPIs using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.

  • Maintains compliance with CASS and Regulatory requirements per the Envoy General Procedures Manual

  • Applies analysis findings, technical knowledge and CASS - Regulatory requirements to formulate and present improvement recommendations

  • Generate weekly and monthly reports to be presented to upper management

  • Review component removals and teardowns to determine if component is meeting vendor standards

  • Develop return on investment (ROI) analysis and technical analysis for aircraft modifications

Requirements

  • Minimum age: 18
  • Strong analytical skills; proficiency with Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Ability to process and interpret large volumes of complex technical information.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing abilities
  • Statistical analysis or data science background preferred
  • Ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines and in high‑pressure, high‑volume work environments.
  • Must be capable of producing viable results with minimum of oversight
  • Previous aviation technical or reliability background preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering disciplines preferred
  • Possess the legal right to work in the United States
  • Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
  • Some travel may be required
