Responsibilities

How will you make an impact? 

The HRIS and Reporting Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the execution and management of complex business system related projects, ensuring the successful delivery of business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, particularly in an Agile framework, and possess a keen understanding of information systems. This position plays a critical role in leading projects while collaborating with leaders across the organization to ensure project alignment and delivery. Additionally, the HRIS Project Manager may be called upon to assist with reporting and employee data management tasks depending on business needs. 

This includes but is not limited to: 

  • Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of cross departmental business projects, ensuring they are completed on time and with allotted resources.  
  • Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, and other team members of all levels and departments to understand project goals, deliverables, and timelines. 
  • Tracking and Reporting: Track project progress, prepare status reports, and update team members and stakeholders on milestones, risks, and timelines. 
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including timelines, resources, meeting notes, and action items. 
  • Process Improvement: Assist in identifying areas for process improvements and provide recommendations for streamlining. 
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate with external vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are aligned. 
  • Support HRIS Initiatives: Contribute to HRIS-related initiatives such as position data management, system configuration changes, and User Acceptance Testing. 
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identify challenges within projects and assist in finding solutions to keep projects on track.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Project Management, Business Administration, Economics or related field. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing projects 
  • Strong background in project management, with experience applying Agile methodologies. 
  • Proven experience with HR systems (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors) and data management tools. 
  • Experience with reporting, data analysis, and information system configuration is a plus. 
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to data integrity. 
  • Experience with employee data management processes and systems. 
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines. 

 

Position Preferences

  • Excellent organizational, documentation, and planning skills 
  • Great communicator with ability to communicate with a wide variety of employee groups/levels 
  • PMI/PMP certification preferred 
  • Ability to confidently relay ownership for the programs, act as spokesperson 
  • Provide and adapt structure as needed to facilitate the program successfully 
  • Ability to navigate pushback/high aptitude for problem solving without taking it personal 
  • Customer Service oriented with a positive attitude amid rapid changes
